Tiny MCE is a third-party product included with Joomla, would suggest you make contact with the makers of TinyMCE, or post an improvement suggestion in https://issues.joomla.org that the developers of Joomla would more likely see than on this forum.
Suggest to try JCE Editor and see if that improves what you're trying to do?
Perhaps it's because you're copying Excel, and since Joomla is web-based it is converting that excel sheet to HTML and perhaps doesn't transfer all your Excel-specific settings into a HTML table. You'd probably have to reformat the table in TinyMCE for your table row colours and widths etc (that's all done with CSS).
