Hi there,
I upgraded to Joomla 5 about a month ago and it has worked well. I am on 5.2.1 at present.
I have seen some odd caching issues since moving to Joomla 5 in general (examples: the "Extensions are up to date" notification will show there are updates, I update them, it still shows the prior count and then after some period of time, it seems to stop showing that; I have seen others report this issue as well. I never saw that prior to J5).
At present, the backend is not working properly.
On Chrome on multiple devices and after clearing browser cache:
1) Icons are missing
2) Left menus still are clickable but icons missing there also
3) Buttons at the top like "New" change color when I hover over them but no longer work
On Edge, I do see all the icons like I used to see on Chrome but the buttons similar to Chrome like New no longer work.
On a mobile device, things seem normal, buttons work, etc., but that's with the mobile interface.
All caches that I know how to do anything with have been cleared.
At present, I no longer have a working Joomla backend and would appreciate any suggestions.
Much appreciated.
Thank you,
Scott
