Templates for Joomla! 5.x • Understanding Page Breaks Gantry

I'm trying to understand how page breaks work and if there is a global setting to change them.

I'm using Gantry. I've read through their documentation. If I understand it correctly I have to adjust each Particle Default then the breakpoints under "Configuration Styles"? When I just change the breakpoints under "Config Styles", nothing changes.

I know this is more of Gantry question but I'm not sure where else to post this.
