A further bit of information to add...
I can get results out of the fpa-en.php script but only if I run it on the command line on the web server.
$ php ./php-en.php > results.html
Of course, it does not list any database connection information/results since there's no configuration.php for it to pull db info from.
Would any information from this output be useful for trouble-shooting this, even though it was run from the command line?
