General Questions/New to Joomla! 4.x • Show / Hide Title

Our NPO organization, is developing a full site rebuild (from an existing but very outdated Joomla 3 site).

We have a entirely new Joomla 4 Installation, using the free version of the Joomart Purity IV template.

In the process of moving content across to the new site and testing some sample Articles, I have noticed that Overriding the Global Setting "SHOW TITLE" for an individual Article does not appear to work. The Global Setting seems to persist whether or not I select Show, Hide, or Global in the Article Options. Is there something I am missing?

Without the feature, we are missing a significant customization option, given some non-technical people will be creating content in the site. ... and it SHOULD work.

I also tried setting the Global to "Hide" and again, changing the Article setting had no effect.

We are using using Joomart Purity IV template, but the problem persists when I tested switching to Cassiopeia. to see if that would resolve the problem. It did not. So it does not seem to be a template problem.
